Lesser Black-backed Gull intermedius NOS 4105805 5CY, October 02 2003, IJmuiden, the Netherlands.

An adult LBBG intermedius metal ringed right Stavanger 4105805. Ringed as pullus on 24 June 1999 at Kollsvegen 649, Gjøvik, Oppland, NO (60° 52' 48 , 10° 40' 11), 115 KM north of Oslo, 200 KM inland.

P6 is fully grown, P9-P10 are still old. P10 with a small mirror. Moult in the rectrices has started as well, with the central feathers shed. All secondaries are still old. The bill is yellow, with the red gonydeal spot extending on the upper mandible. There is some black on both upper and lower mandible. The iris is yellow, without speckling. The orbital ring is red.
