ZNA3 was ringed at the small island Ansarón (Xove, Lugo Province, In NW Spain; 43.44N 07.29W) on 18 July 2003 as pullus. It has been recorded several times since.

Only a few wing-coverts have been included in the post-juvenile moult.

After the partial autumn moult, the fresh wing-coverts typically are more grey-based.

Obvious bill band.

Obvious black on the bill and relatively heavy head and neck steaking. P7 just over P6 in length. P10 old. Central tail feathers moulting. Old secondaries seem to have dark on the centres.
