Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 3CY, October 24 2008, Etaples, France. Picture: Ies Meulmeester.

Difficult individual to age, because of the possibility of an advanced 4cy. But note the bill which shows a broad black band on the gonys, black on the cutting edges and on the base of the upper-mandible, pale yellowish legs, some little immature markings on the greater coverts, the shape and size of the white primary tips and the small mirror on the nearly fully grown p10 suggest a 3cy better!
