Yellow-legged Gull michahellis adult, January 25 2015, Fori Imperiali - Rome, Italy. Picture: Dirk van Gansberghe.Small head and bill suggests female. Greater primary coverts seem to be of the adult-type: grey, only with a blackish shaft line. Full band on P10, mirror separated from white tip. Faint black on upper mandible, clouded iris, not clean yellow but 'honey'. |
