Yellow-legged Gull michahellis adult, August 11 2003, Le Portel, France (50.44N, 01.35E).

P9-P10 still old, P5 fully grown. P6 slightly shorter than P5. Note the black sub-terminal band on P4. Slender bill and small size and lack of a mirror on P10 could indicate female. The old lesser coverts and central greater show some brown wash, but plain grey greater primary coverts advocate full adultness. Note the small black spot on the lower mandible.
