Yellow-legged Gull michahellis adult , April, May & June 2011, Tel Aviv - University Zool. Garden, Israel. Pictures: Amir Ben Dov.

Local breeding michahellis in the East Mediterranean. Partner is small, dark eyed female, with stubby bill, much like armenicus (which is of course no breeding species for Israel). Male has much white in the wings.
