This bird has moulted many mantle feathers and scapulars.
The pattern
on the greater coverts and tertials is all-dark brown with narrow white edges
(some of these fringes are worn away already).
The upper two tertials are missing, two lesser coverts are missing and 1 is
growing, the inner median covert is missing and the inner two greater coverts
are missing.
The head is pale with a dark smudge around the eye and
on the crown. The overall colour of the new upper-part feathers is ginger
toned. In the background lies a graellsii LBBG.
