Yellow-legged
Gull michahellis adult, June 26 2003, Etaples, France
(50.44N,01.35E).
Probably a female, with a
rounded head and a slender bill, lacking the obvious strong gonydeal angle. Note
the grey greater primary coverts, visible beneath the central secondaries. This
individual has pretty advanced moult in the primaries: P7-P10 are still old, P6
has been shed.
