Yellow-legged
Gull michahellis adult, November 17 2002, Westkapelle, the
Netherlands (51.33N,03.25E).
Compare the grey tone of the back of this adult
with the grey tone of Herring Gull in the background. As is commonly shown in
adult michahellis, the primary moult is completed by October. Note the
red orbital ring, snow-white head, much black on the primaries and the very
conspicuous yellow legs.
