2L1C yellow and metal Kaunas EN03512 (LIK), ringed as pullus on June 09 2009 at Novaraistis, Lithuania (54°56'56" N, 23°25'07" E). Bird from mixed colony "argentatus".

Almost all scapulars replaced, except lower row. Both in left wing and in right wing single LLC replaced as well.

Scap moult almost completed.

Bird in complete moult. MC replaced, central GC missing, now exposing the bases of the secondaries lying underneath. Outer primaries old juvenile.

Near end of the complete moult, only P10 is old juvenile. P1-P7 new 2nd gen, P8 halfway. Large moult gap in central secondaries and several new tail-feathers visible.

Only three days later. Together with Larus michahellis (right bird).

P9 fully grown, P10 at 3/4 of the length. A subsequent moult takes place, so-called "partial autumn moult", which includes again the MC, inner GC and upper TT. These new feathers will look more adult-like, grey, but still with dark shaft streak.
