Larus cachinnans hybrid 1CY PLG DN-21230 September - December 2007, Deponie Pohlsche Heide - Minden, Germany (52°23'05N, 08°46'45E).
Picture: Armin Deutsch.
1CY hybrid Caspian x Herring Gull. Ringed as a chick in Wisla reservoir - Wloclawek, Poland (52°39'N, 19°08'E) on May 09 2007, parents known as Herring (mother) and Caspian (father). It has some Caspian traits (greater-covert and tertial patterns, replaced wing-coverts), but the head- and body-streaking is heavier and more extensive than shown by any pure Caspian in December. Its overall score was 26, outside the range of pure individuals of both species.
