Yellow ring from Poland. Ringed as pullus yellow PCAZ & metal PLG DN-25325 on May 13 2009 at Jankowice - Babice, S. Poland (50°02'N, 19°28'E).
It's long-call appeared a little bit slow when heard calling at the landfill in Germany.

Single lower scapulars still juvenile. Coverts and tertials juvenile. Bold pattern on 2nd gen scapulars. Ill-defined Venetian blind on inner primaries.

No real change in moult stage over the last 2 weeks.

Ill-defined Venetian blind on inner primaries. Pale underwing.

Note moulted head, neck, sides of breast and flank feathers, appearing cold grey with delicate patterns contrasting with warmer brown toned juvenile feathers.
