Zwirownia = gravel pit, this colony is situated between the towns of Babice and Jankowice in a gravel pit. Recoveries:
In this area are mixed breeding colonies (near Katowice), with far most birds breeding here are cachinnans, but in this area also records of very few michahellis from the south (e.g. ringed female from Italy) and argentatus from eastern Germany are possible (see PDF). Tertials with sharp white tips, much white in tail, but in general straightforward cachinnans. Last new scaps appear plain grey, several coverts replaced as well. Inner primaries rather pale overall. White head sharply demarcated by boa in hindneck.
