Yellow PKKT and metal PLG DN-28640; ringed as pullus on May 25 2012 at Kozielno, Paczkow, S-SW Poland, (50°28' N,  16°58' E).

In this area are mixed breeding colonies (near Katowice), with far most birds breeding here are cachinnans, but in this area also records of very few michahellis from the south (e.g. ringed female from Italy) and argentatus from eastern Germany are possible (see PDF).

PKKT is classic cachinnans.

First image: together with 1st winter Herring Gull. Bird with very advanced covert moult, also replaced upper tertials. Note obvious gonydeal angle, not unlike michahellis.

Still mottled on breast and belly, some new 2nd gen feathers (darker) on flanks.
