Larus cachinnans 4CY PEHV January 10 2014, Oostende, Belgium. Picture: Roland Francois.

Yellow PEHV; ringed as pullus on May 10 2011 at Zwirownia Zakole A, Jankowice - Babice, Poland (50,02N 19,28E). Zwirownia = gravel pit, this colony is situated between the towns of Babice and Jankowice in a gravel pit. In this area are mixed breeding colonies (near Katowice), with far most birds breeding here are cachinnans, but in this area also records of very few michahellis from the south (e.g. ringed female from Italy) and argentatus from eastern Germany are possible (see PDF).

PEHV is classic cachinnans. In jizz probably female. Note black in tail and mirror on P10.
