Cachinnans - nest Lelystad 028

General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 028 positioned at breakwater 1 near nest 1 and nest 2, low on dam. Behind dense Elderberry, hampering observations.
  • ID 2020 uncertain, in cluster of Caspian Gull cachinnans nests and large eggs, but still could be Lesser Black-backed Gull.
location April 27th, 2020: nest location. April 27th, 2020: 3 eggs clutch.
