  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 003 positioned high on artificial breakwater 1 between blocks, west of nest 001.
  • Nest 003-2024: nest moved down, close to waterfront on reed tussock.
  • ID in 2020 is certain, breeders are Caspian Gull cachinnans.
  • ID in 2021 is certain: same birds.

  Still, we can not find the chicks in the dense Blackberry vegetation.

21-06-2022 adult male, partner 1 present at the water south side of dam 1, aggressively defending 2 swimming juveniles. No chicks ringed this season (Avian flu restrictions).
