Herring Gull (argentatus & argenteus)

Herring Gull sub-adult, March 05 2014, Katwijk, the Netherlands.
3rd gen flight feathers. Adult-like grey inner primaries, sub-terminal bands on central primaries blackish with sharp borders, sometimes mirror on P10 (and even P9). Bill-base and iris often yellowish. But also many immature markings in greater primary coverts, wing-coverts, often in the tail and normally broad bill-band.
Mirrors on P9 and P10 in this bird.
