below: Herring Gull (argenteus) FXAP 7CY (6th cycle), January 10 2013, Blaringhem, France. Picture: Harry J.P. Vercruijsse.
Ringed as pullus in 2007 at Oostende, Belgium.
Now in its 6th cycle, this bird still has dark markings on the greater primary coverts, some black in the tail and black on the bill.

below: Herring Gull (argenteus) FXAP 5CY (4th cycle), March 10 2011, Blaringhem, France. Picture: Harry J.P. Vercruijsse.
An exceptionally retarded looking bird. Ringing data prove that it is in its 4th cycle, but its plumage looks like a retarded 3rd cycle still. No mirror on P10.
