Metal ring from Poland, PLG DN-28100, cachinnans ringed as pullus on May 10 2012 by Marcin Sidelnik, in Wyspa na Wisle, Kepa Nadbrzeska (= Island in the Vistula River, Kepa Nadbrzeska), near Warschau, Poland (52°01' N, 21°13' E). This colony holds a mixed population, with cachinnans dominating and argentatus, michahellis and even single fuscus breeding as well. By spring, hard to be certain about the exact post-juvenile moult as all feathers look very worn and bleached. One central tail feather replaced. Note short, stocky legs and lack of ventral bulge.
