Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 1CY, October 24 2002, Etaples, NW France.

1CY bird with greater coverts GC2-3 replaced, while #4 is still growing. Median covert MC2 has been replaced and lower lesser coverts LLC3-5 have been replaced with #3-4 still growing. In the lowest row of scapulars, the last juvenile scapulars can be found. All other scapulars are second generation. The partial moult is almost completed by late October.
