Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 2CY, April 19 2002, Etaples, NW France (50.42N,1.34E).

Another rather straightforward 2CY michahellis which has moulted several wing-coverts in the partial autumn moult in 1CY. The upper tertial has been replaced and in the wing-coverts, greater coverts #1-2, median coverts #1, #8-9 and about 8 lesser coverts were moulted. Three upper scapulars appear plain grey third generation, while the other scapulars are abraded second generation feathers.
