Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 2CY, February 18-19 2012, Jakuševec landfill, Zagreb, Croatia.

Pale bird, pattern on scapulars close to typical for argentatus, with narrow dark transversal lines. All scapulars replaced. Fresh upper scapulars now 3rd gen, again much 2nd gen-like in their patterns.

Many wing-coverts but no tertials replaced for 2nd gen feathers with bold dark centres, outer coverts still juvenile.

Flight feathers juvenile.
