A 2CY michahellis with all
tertials, lesser and greater coverts still juvenile. Seven median coverts
are replaced by second generation and two lower lesser coverts are
missing.
The upper scapulars were all moulted quite some time ago and the fringes
are slightly worn by now. In the lowest lower scapular one feather is
missing and the rear lower scapulars look very fresh, they were moulted
recently. In general, the lower scapulars are later moulted than the upper
scapulars.
The head shows a dark patch around the eye and a boldly streaked
neck-collar which extends along the side-breast to the belly. The bill is
all-dark.
