Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 3CY, February 18-19 2012, Jakuševec landfill, Zagreb, Croatia.

Atypical bird with densely streaked head and almost all black bill; and P1-P2 looking older than P3 and outer primaries. Strong arrow-head patterns on some coverts. Scapulars are most grey (some with dark shaft streak), forming grey saddle against barred lesser coverts.

Inner GC, MC, LLC, random LLC, and upper tertials replaced in partial autumn moult.
