Yellow-legged Gull michahellis sub-adult, November 08 2007, Chevroux, Switzerland. Picture: Stephane Aubry.

Visit Stephane's Pbase site.

Aged 4CY or more probably 5CY, by combination of features: adult-like old primaries with mirror on P10 and adult-looking central primaries (like P5), adult-like bill but with often with more black; this combined with immature patterns on coverts (especially greater primary coverts as in this bird) and often lower tertials or tail. Note also dark iris.
