 | Yellow-legged
Gull michahellis 4CY 810H January 29 2013, Jakuševec landfill, Zagreb, Croatia. Picture: ringing team Luka Jurinovic.Ringed michahellis from Croatia, codes may be used for winter trapping on landfill near Zagreb, hence no provenance on origin or exact age. Typical for this age class: adult features as adult-like grey inner primaries P1-P3; adult-like central primaries like P4-P5; and well demarcated mirror on P10. This in combination with immature markings, especially dark markings on greater primary coverts, but sometimes also in coverts, secondary centres or black spotting in tail. Normally, 4CY birds still have much more black on the bill than full adults do have.
