General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 207 positioned on old Spoonbill nest on dam 2, just 7 meters east of blue sign VHF20.
  • ID certain in 2022: both cachinnans.
  • ID certain in 2023: both cachinnans. Exact same location on old Spoonbill nest. Partner 1 same as in 2022.
  • ID in 2024: both parents are Caspian Gull. Male is same as in 2023.
